The Barn Owl at Lymm was very well supported for our Festive Lunch, with 27 diners in total: Mark and Pailin, David and Adelle, Nik, Pete and
Cody, Moe and Les, Jean and Sky, Viv and Ian, Bob and Glenys, Mike and
Ann, Rob, Janet and Heidi, Brian and Sheila, Mark, Dave, Shirley,
Catherine and myself.
The tables were dressed with festive treats and as our order was pre-booked, the staff soon brought our starters through and we began our meal. Crackers were pulled, party hats worn, jokes and trivia questions were exchanged and enjoyed.
At the end of the superb meal we swapped our Christmas cards and in appreciation for their dedication and hard work throughout the year, Jean and Sky gave Catherine and Shirley a lovely bouquet of flowers each as a token of thanks.
Enormous thanks go to Nik and Pete in gratitude for all their hard work behind the scenes throughout the past year, covering many aspects for the continued success of the Club.
We parted, wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and all good wishes for a Happy and Healthy 2020, hoping to see everyone in February to discuss our future events throughout the coming year.
