I've had this great little car for 6 years and I was going to sell it earlier in the year, but then the ABS light came on. The garage who were servicing the car couldn't rectify it and nor could a local mobile auto electrician.I replaced the abs pump twice, thinking it was this, but it wasn't.
I took it to another garage and they found no faults with the wiring, but put it down to a module, which when replaced was still in fault.
The MOT then ran out, which meant I couldn't get it MOT'd due to the ABS light.
So I have just cancelled the car insurance and the tax, so it is now SORN.
The brakes work perfectly well as does the rest of the car, the roof retracts etc. and it is road worthy, except for the ABS light.
